I’m just another twenty-something plugging away on the internet. I am a bi-locational human, struggling to define what home means to me. I have joined in the fight for environmental justice and see this blog as a way not only to talk about culture and life, but also to get the word out about a lot of the issues that have helped define me into the person I am today.
I am currently getting my MA in Communication & Advocacy, focusing on environmental communication. So a lot of what I may be posting will also be academic in nature. Quotations from articles, reflections on teaching, random rants induced by too much caffeine and too little sleep…the normal grad school stuff I suppose.
To counter-act the heaviness that some of that may bring on (anti-oppression, rhetoric, mountaintop removal…) and some of the lighter things (hipsters, UGG boots, fun aspects of academia…) I decided to title this blog after one of the revelations Julian of Norwhich wrote of, simply: “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
